The NEED
There were approximately 40,000 new cancer diagnoses in Arizona in 2022. They are ‘us’, our mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and employees.
The psychological, physical, and financial impacts on the patient’s healthcare outcomes, quality of life, and so many other factors are enormous for the patient, caregiver, and the whole family.
The SOLUTION
A SOLUTION AzMN’s Cancer Caregivers Education Program, CCEP® was developed by cancer caregivers, patients, and cancer care professionals to build the needed skills, and increase the level of knowledge through education, training, resources, and support for the cancer caregivers and patients at home where the Cancer Caregivers are the 1st Responders for their loved ones.
