Women in Science

Dear Women in Science:

I would like to offer a special thank you to Joan Koerber-Walker, who has not only been a great supporter of Women in Science but has made science and research accessible to small patient advocacy organizations like ours, as well as to the BioScience Industry. Our cancer patients and families have benefitted from Joan’s participation in AzMN’s free cancer education programs. Additionally, because of Joan, my husband, Jack, a 28 year cancer survivor, and me (as his caregiver), have been granted the opportunity to attend AzBio meetings and conferences.

I am especially interested in the topic of “Women in Science” and would like to help support girls and women to select this career and/or support girls and women who have expressed an interest in pursuing this career path. Towards this effort, I have created a brief survey form that can be filled out on this page.
